본고에서는 상담연구와 실제의 중요한 과제라 할 수 있는 상대적 효과성 연구의 대표적 두 가지 방법인 1차 비교연구와 메타분석 연구들을 살펴보았다. 그리고나서 이 과정에서 연구결과를 오염시키는 대표적 문제로서 충성도의 문제를 검토하였다. 먼저, 실험집단을 무처치통제집단과 비교하는 방법과 두 개 이상의 상담처치를 실시하고 그 효과를 비교하는 방법을 비판적으로 검토하였다. 그런 다음, 1차 연구의 문제점들을 극복하는 방법으로서, 무처치통제집단 비교연구들에 대한 메타분석과 직접비교연구들에 대한 메타분석을 살펴보았다. 다음으로 상담자와 연구자의 충성도가 어떻게 발생하며 연구성과에 어떻게 영향을 주는지를 선행연구를 통해 검토하였다. 마지막으로, 우리나라의 상대적 효과성 연구의 발전을 위해 충성도를 통제할 방안들을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 그 외, 학계와 연구자들의 측면에서 개선이 필요한 부분과 바람직한 추후연구를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop Korea's relative efficacy research. In this study, primary studies and meta-analysis studies as two representative methods of exploring relative efficacy were examined. Then, in this process, the problem of allegiance was reviewed as a representative problem that contaminates the research results. First, the method of comparing the experimental group with the no treatment control group and the method of comparing the effects of two or more counseling treatments were reviewed critically. Then, the meta-analysis method, which is a method of overcoming the problems of the primary study, was divided into meta-analysis for comparative studies in the untreated control group and meta-analysis for studies with direct comparison design. Next, how the allegiance of the counselor and the researcher occurs and how it affects the research were reviewed through previous studies. Finally, for the development of Korea's relative effectiveness research, a plan to control allegiance was presented in detail. In addition, areas that need improvement from the perspective of academia and researchers, and desirable future studies were suggested.
