초록

본 연구는 한국고용정보원의 2017 대졸자 직업이동 경로조사 자료(2018GOMS)와 대학알리미에 공시된 각 대학의 대학정보공시자료를 활용하여 대졸자의 임금에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 대학 수준의 변인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 위계적 선형모형(hierarchical linear model, HLM)을 통해 분석한 결과, 개인 수준의 성별, 연령, 부모의 자산규모, 전공계열, 졸업 평점, 어학연수 경험이 졸업 후 대졸자의 임금 수준에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 대학 수준에서는 소재지, 설립유형, 학생 1인당 재정지원실적이 임금 수준에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.
대학 졸업 후 높은 임금을 형성하기 위해서는 양질의 일자리로의 이행이 필수적이다. 비록 개인 배경이나 대학 배경과 같이 대졸자 개인의 노력으로 바꾸기 어려운 변인들이 임금 수준에 영향을 미치고 있기는 하지만, 개인 및 대학 차원의 노력과 교육지원 변인들도 임금 수준에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 질적 수준이 뛰어난 직장으로 이행하기 위해서 대졸자는 자신의 역량을 계발하기 위해 적극적으로 노력할 필요가 있으며, 대학은 재학생이 뛰어난 역량을 함양할 수 있도록 교육 환경 구축에 노력을 제고해야 할 것이다. 

This study examines individual and university-level variables affecting the wages of college graduates by using the 2017 Korea Employment Information Service's data on the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(2018GOMS) and university information disclosure data published on the "Higher Education in Korea“(Daehak Alimi) web-site. As a result of the analysis through the hierarchical linear model (HLM), it was confirmed that individual-level gender, age, parental asset size, major, graduation grade, and language training experience had a significant effect on the wage level of college graduates. and at the university level, it was confirmed that the location, establishment type, and financial support performance had a significant effect on the wage level.
In conclusion, in order for enrolled students to form high wages after graduation, transition to quality jobs is essential. although variables that are difficult to change due to individual college graduates' efforts, such as individual and university backgrounds, are affecting the wage level, it has been confirmed that individual and university-level efforts and educational support have a positive effect on the wage level. in other words, in order to transition to a job with an excellent quality level, college graduates need to actively strive to cultivate their competencies, and universities should enhance efforts to establish an educational environment so that enrolled students can develop excellent competencies.
